Amelia was only 4 months old when I went back to work full-time, so it was important to us that she was in the best care possible. We chose Little Wonders Timaru as it was a purpose built centre with a specific babies’ room with low child to teacher ratios. Now we have all three of our children at the centre, although Amelia is about to turn 5 and head off to primary school.
The centre has excelled in meeting all of our needs. The staff go the extra mile and are always willing to discuss behaviours that children are displaying or stages of learning that they are going through. This helps parents gain a greater insight into their children.
The support we have received from all the staff at Little Wonders have been truly awesome! Relocating from another country has not been easy but Little Wonders has made this transition so much easier, especially for our daughter. We were made to feel very welcome - thank you! Our daughter couldn't be more happy so as a mother this gives me great satisfaction knowing that by choosing Little Wonders, we did the right thing!
Love the way they treat and include my little girl. I feel see and feel the love that they have for my child, which makes it easy for a new mum to leave their baby there. Thank you Erin, Rebecca, Yasmin, Lauren and all of the relievers. I value the care you have for my daughter.
After looking at selected daycare facilities for our 4 month old daughter we came to see what Little Wonders had to offer us. After meeting Laura, Erin and the team in the Matai Room we were drawn to the caring, compassionate and respectful manner that they showed the children in the class, adapting to everyone's needs and requirements. Our daughter who is now 14 months absolutely adores the teachers and friends she has made, and in her first year has grown and developed hugely with their support. As a parent who can be quite particular, I have always felt that I have been welcome to voice any queries or concerns and the team have taken it on board and where possible have taken action.
I happily recommend Little Wonders Timaru.
The Centre and staff are fabulous and my children have always been treated wonderfully while in the care of Little Wonders.
I really love my children being apart of the Little Wonders Timaru Family. Brooke is now seven but enjoyed her earlier years at "Wonders" the great thing for her is that she is still great friends with children she went there with. Mitchell is now 3 & loves going to "Wonders" They have both formed great relationships with the teachers. As a mother I love the variety of activities that the kids participate in. The food is fantastic as on a busy day I know that the children have had a good lunch meal so if they can have light evening meal. I would have no issues talking to any parents looking at enrolling their children to Little Wonders.
Little Wonders Timaru was such a happy accident for my family. We were forced to have to do daycare because my husband hurt his Achilles, and I had work. The first time I left, I cried the whole way home just because I had never left my son with anyone that long - not even family. When I returned and picked him up, I was greeted by stories from the staff and pictures. I walked in on his playing outside in the sandbox and barely taking note I had come.
As the months have progressed, I have realised what a gem this place is. They are helping him grow in leaps and bounds - we are far from family so the social and mental growth he gets, is invaluable. The staff has goals for him and specific ways to meet them. We have been noticing weekly changes in him and are so grateful for how they have helped him grow. We love Little Wonders - the good food they give him (it always is so healthy and delicious, the kindness they give him, and their care. Forever grateful for their care.
