Samoan week at Little Wonders Glendowie
The children at Little Wonders have been slowly introduced to different phrases in Samoan, in celebration of Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa (Samoan Language week). Every day we introduce a new phrase.
Today's phrase of the day: Tālofa lava (Hello!)
They have had a blast calling out 'Tālofa' to their friends and teachers - especially during mat time! Such loud and proud voices making this wonderful greeting!
The tamaiti have also started to learn this lovely Samoan song, called 'Savalivali means go for a walk'. Have a listen for yourself and sing along where you can!
